In the past I have made references to Planned Parenthood’s founder, the racist, eugenicist Margaret Sanger. I have written about how she was inspired by Darwin to see to it that people who were unfit to produce quality “stock” should not be allowed to have children. This Darwinian belief led her to champion birth control and Planned Parenthood, which are based on someone more evolved planning your parenthood for you, controlling your births. It was never about “reproductive rights” or “access to healthcare.” In her words, “Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race.” To prove my point, I just want to let Sanger speak for herself; here are some of my favorite Margaret Sanger quotes: “The most merciful thing that the large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.” “[We should] apply a stern and rigid policy of sterilization and segregation to that grade of population whose progeny is tainted, or whose inheritance is such that objectionable traits ma...

This shows the misunderstanding of the concept of the wall of separation. This picture indicates that the church influenced Hitler, and therefore we need a wall to keep the evil church away from government. But as any person who knows history understands, Hitler was in no way influenced by the church. He hated church and had nothing to do with it (thanks to Darwinism). After he rose to power, he forced all churches to spread his propaganda, replacing all religious relics with images of Hitler. Thomas Jefferson's concern on his "wall of separation" remark was to prevent this. The Government (State) is not to interfere with the Church.

We all are familiar with the Nazi’s Holocaust against the Jews during World War II, but do we know about the Holocaust that is going on in our own back yard? In Ray Comfort’s book Hitler, God, and the Bible[1]  he traces the life of Germany’s most notorious Fuhrer, which culminated in his slaughter of 6 million Jews. Hitler convinced the German populace that Jews were not human (thanks to Darwin, Germans believed that they were at the top of evolution and Jews were at the bottom as sub-human), and therefore it was ok to kill them. The most startling part of the Holocaust was that these concentration camps were right in the back yard of many German citizens. After the Allied powers defeated the Third Reich they forced the German citizens to walk through these gas chambers to see what they permitted through their support of Hitler. Darwinian evolution has had a great impact on our society, and I am not just referring to the classroom. When Darwin first crafted his theory of evolution, which his writings show was his attempt to get rid of God and hell, he opened the door to a world that puts no value on life. If mankind is nothing more than some animal, then what is the big deal if one man kills another? Isn’t that what animals do? And does not mankind kill “lower” animals all the time, for both food and sport? Was Darwin trying to push humanity down this slippery slope that devalues human life? I doubt it. Charles Darwin seems like he was a nice guy, but the tragic death of his daughter, the evolutionary influence of his grandfather, and the thought of his father in hell sent him down his own path. As our country reflects on 9/11 this week, like many others, I have spent time thinking about where I was and what I was doing when I first realized we were under attack. Eleven years have passed, but it seemed like only days as my mind began to go back to that day of infamy over a decade ago. As a sophomore in high school I remember being a little nervous. One of the greatest blows to Christianity has been the assessment that we are responsible for all the wars in the world. “If your God is so loving, then why have more people died in Christian wars than in all other wars put together?” The Crusades and Inquisition have also been a black mark on our history. That number does not include all the lives lost worldwide during World War II, which he should certainly be blamed for. Was Hitler a Christian? Hardly. He was a pagan that believed in the ancient gods. Joseph Stalin is not as well known as Hitler, but he murdered far more people. An estimated 40 million people lost their lives at the hands of Stalin, who was anything but a Christian. Stalin closed 90% of the churches in the Soviet Union. It’s an election year and the political scene is front and center on every news network. What are Christians supposed to do with politics? Are we allowed to vote, commanded to vote, or permitted to vote? What does the Bible say? I am going to start a series on how Christians should vote on certain issues, but first we have to establish the fact that Christians can and should vote. I am not one of those political pastors who uses the pulpit to tell people whom they should cast their ballot for, neither am I going to address secular issues such as taxes, military defense, or the budget. These will be moral or Christian issues, such as abortion/ embryonic stem cell research, wars, and gay marriage. Authors like Donald Miller and Shane Claiborne have made a living by accusing the church of forcing its members to vote Republican, but that is not what I am setting out to do.
