Over the last 12 hours I have seen many comments on social media that indicate that Christians are disheartened over yesterday’s election. There were certainly some things that got me down too, and I can relate to some of the concern. But first, let me be clear: this is not an anti-Obama blog. The name-calling and racial slurs are uncalled for and unbecoming towards the office of our President. That is also a sign of the non-believer, not the Christian. The concern that I am referring to is in regards to the direction we are headed as a nation. I am not disheartened that President Obama was reelected; what saddened me are the results in regards to the moral issues. Two states legalized same sex marriage , two other states legalized the recreational smoking of pot, and then there is the abortion issue.
